Stewardship’s Julianne Manning is Living the Mission

This year, Stewardship’s Julianne Manning participated in Operation Christmas Child, a program run by Samaritan’s Purse. Through this program, children around the world receive shoeboxes packed with toys, school supplies, and hygiene products. For most of these children, this shoebox may be the only gift they receive in their lives.

Julianne likes this organization because it gives children around the world a tangible expression of love and creates a pathway for the Gospel to be shared.

Julianne believes in teaching her children through service.

“As a parent,” Julianne says, “I think it is important to help my children understand that there are millions of children around the world who don’t have very much. By getting them involved it teaches them a way to give to those who do not have.”

Julianne enjoys participating in this program with her children because it is a way for her to encourage them to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Her son has recently had interest in different countries and cultures, making Operation Christmas Child a great ministry outlet for their family.
